If you want to lose weight you’ve come to the wrong place. On the other hand if you want to commit to losing weight Belinda can help you to get real results. What you ask for and want is not the same as being committed to it.How many times have you been 100% committed to something, went through the motions one day and bailed out the next?
Much like a sports coach, Belinda will guide, educate, inspire and support you in particular skills, perceptions or tasks and can also give you a kick up the bum if need be. She will tell it to you straight without the sugar sprinkles on top. Let’s face it, it’s probably the sweet poison that got you here in the first place!
You’ll be asked to increase the quality of key elements of your life to ensure your success. It doesn’t mean you have to catapult yourself into a fad diet, go stone cold sober or stop smoking cold turkey or become a runaholic. In fact Belinda’s personal training experiences with her clients have taught her that those that go the whole hog at the beginning of a new health and fitness regime is a recipe for disaster! That kind of approach relies on share willpower to get you through. It’s not sustainable.
You are not a maths problem of purely controlling and burning off calories. You are your own emotional blockade. It’s your emotions that are really the make or break of your success. Think about it for a moment. What happens when you have a really bad day or become upset? Chocolate therapy that’s what! Delicious chocolate cake and bam all your best health and fitness intentions turn to flat champagne. If you are to become a pearl it will require you to dig deep and heal right at the root of your inner feelings.
If you were in an elite team of athletes or specialists, your training would require a level of learning, commitment, application and practices not common in the majority… otherwise you wouldn’t be elite, right? Before you hit the panic button do you really think weight loss is all rainbows and kittens? There will be times when you muck up, find it all too difficult, be discouraged, frustrated, frightened and want to call it quits. It’s natural. If an oyster can embrace and accept every cutting painful edge of the foreign object so too can you.
What’s more your coach and meanie pants trainer would ask some things of you that might seem like extraordinary tasks. Oh no we hear you groan. This above all else means YOU will be responsible for your own experience, choices and actions. No big deal you say. It will be when you arrive for your personal training session bright and early Monday morning; jump on the scales and insist they are malfunctioning; moan how you have been starving yourself all week long with portioned size meals; demand five gold stars for all the exercise you did, then ask Belinda to grab your water bottle out of your bag where she finds three scrunched up empty chocolate bar wrappers that you conveniently forgot you ate! It’s laughable and ludicrous.
‘Cultivating Your Inner Pearl’ is for individuals who are truly fed up with their self loathing and are ready and open to making the changes required to get the weight loss . If you don’t like what you see then you can choose to change. That’s your choice.
