What Does a Pearl and Personal Training Have to do with one Another?
Jumping to conclusions is not good exercise and nor will it burn any calories. No a ‘pearl’ is not some gimmicky fitness gadget. No a ‘pearl’ is not the latest and greatest super food. Seriously who do you think you are – Cleopatra? Although if she was here in this day and age I’m sure she would most likely gulp a pearl in a slimming smoothie. No a strand of ‘pearls’ will not become part of your personal training attire, however it is a yes for designer active wear for those that do literally nothing in their active wear, coffee, shopping……
Here is what a pearl and personal training have in common;
- All Pearls encourage wellness and health of body and mind, the most valuable and perhaps the least treasured of gems.
- Each Pearl is unique, a one of a kind.
- The Pearl is the only gem that originates from a living organism.
- We are bound to our bodies like an oyster is to its shell – Plato.
- Pearls act as a catalyst for transformation.
- For an oyster, an irritant (the Grit) becomes the nucleus for something new. The presence of pain or discomfort in human life often provides a stimulant to seek change.
- Together the oyster and Pearl become a symbol of a journey of inspiring change, as well as companions for that journey.
- Oysters work within its sphere of transition, slowly transforming itself into an object of tremendous value and beauty.
